This first aid responder course refresher is developed to enhance your knowledge and understanding of first aid.
This first aid responder refresher course is developed to enhance your knowledge and understanding of first aid. It deals with the types of injuries that would be likely to occur at your workplace and is designed to train employees in the correct response to any workplace emergency.
This 2 day refresher course replaces and enhances the Occupational First Aid refresher course with an improved and more efficient style of learning for both employees and employers.
The 2 day First Aid Course content is as follows:
- First aid in the workplace
- Patient assessment
- Incident Management
- Basic life saving including AED
- Common Medical Emergencies
- Injury and Shock Management
- Hypothermia and Hyperthermia
- Caring for the Unconscious Patient
- Information Management and Communication
- Wellbeing of the first aider
Certification: On successful completion you would be given a First Aid certificate that will last 2 years.
Attendees: The maximum number of attendants on this first aid course is currently 6.
